My approach

Schedule
Contact me with questions, to ask about availability, and to talk about your ideal photo session. If you aren't sure what you want, we can figure it out together.

Meet up
Choose the perfect location. This might be your home, downtown, or a beautiful view from a local park. If you aren't sure where, I can help you choose! My goal is to help you feel comfortable, enjoy the session, and to give us enough time to get the right shots.
03.
Get your photos
Every session comes with a minimum number of fully edited, high-quality photos ready to download for printing or online use. I can also recommend the best places to get your photos printed for the best quality.
What areas do you serve?
My fees are based on locations within 20 minutes of downtown Asheville or Enka, NC. For travel further away please contact me for availability and pricing.
What if the weather is bad?
We will reschedule if rain or other bad weather is threatening our outdoor photo shoot. We will work together to find another date that works for all.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel a scheduled photo shoot. I understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may arise that requires less than 48 hours notice, and I will work with you to find a new date.
How soon will I get my photos?
For a typical one-hour photo shoot, fully edited digital photos will be provided within 14 days from the photoshoot. For sessions over 2 hours long, additional time may be needed.
What if my kid won't cooperate?
Kids are some of the hardest and most rewarding clients to work with. I recommend making sure your child gets a good night's sleep before the photo shoot, and has a snack or meal before arriving. Sometimes moods are out of our control, or a bout of extreme shyness gets in the way. Most of the time we can make it work and get some great photos.
Will you tell us how to pose?
I am happy to provide guidance on placement and poses. Typically I will let you fall into place naturally, and will jump in with suggestions if something seems off.
